X-ray diagnostics
X-ray is the basic examination used in modern dentistry. X-ray examinations perfectly reproduce both the tooth tissue and the bone. The dentist looks for signs of caries, the course of canals and tooth resorption, and, if this was the purpose of the examination, for root fractures. Precise diagnostics is certainly facilitated by modern software, thanks to which X-ray images are visible on the computer monitor right after the exposure. Thanks to this, the dentist can analyze the patient’s problem even more thoroughly and select the appropriate solutions.
